The American Legion, serving as an Official Charity Partner of INDYCAR, has opened registration for veterans and currently serving military members holding complimentary tickets to the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington, D.C.
A First-of-Its-Kind Race Weekend
The Freedom 250 Grand Prix brings the NTT INDYCAR SERIES to Washington, D.C. for the first time, with practice and qualifying on Saturday, August 22 and the race itself on Sunday, August 23 at 1:00 p.m. ET. The street circuit winds past some of the country's most recognizable landmarks, including the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol, according to The American Legion.
For veterans who received complimentary race tickets, the Legion is offering a dedicated upgrade: "American Legion Hospitality, Fueled by Droplight," a hospitality activation built to hold roughly 2,000 guests in the heart of the city.
