Operation WarriorFit provides free race entries to veterans, service members, and first responders so they can chase their next finish line without worrying about entry fees. Three new races just joined our lineup this week, spanning a road 5K, a multisport event, and a marathon weekend, and eligible members can now request entries to any of them.
Freihofer's Run for Women
Albany, NY | 5K | June 5, 2027
A long-running elite women's 5K road race dating back to 1979 in Albany's Capital Region, now sponsored by Sara Lee Delightful Bread. The event maintains longstanding local charity partnerships, including Albany Medical Center Foundation and Girls on the Run, and is a paid-entry race rather than a fundraiser itself. Normally $28 to $48 to enter, free for eligible members through OWF.
Last Call Triathlon
Loveland, CO | Triathlon | September 27, 2026
A season-closing multisport race held at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, produced by Breakaway Athletic Events. It's a fitting way to wrap up the triathlon season for anyone chasing one more start line before winter. Normally $75 to $130 to enter, free for eligible members through OWF.
DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend
Pittsburgh, PA | Marathon | May 2, 2027
A full marathon weekend produced by P3R in downtown Pittsburgh. Our partnership with P3R extends across all of their hosted events, so keep an eye out for more Pittsburgh-area races joining the lineup in the future. Normally $115 to $165 to enter, free for eligible members through OWF.
